Mike Tyson v Jake Paul. Crazy?

In the News

Just learnt that Jake Paul is fighting Mike Tyson on 20th July in a real boxing match as opposed to an exhibition. I think Prime Mike Tyson destroys Jake. But we are talking about a 57 year old Mike who hasnt fought a competitive match in about 20 years.

I just dont know what will happen. Does he have the spedd and power of his younger days or is this going to be an embarasment? Is it just a money making fight with no prospect of Mike winning?

Pfs Word. For sure. But could Tyson not knock Jake out? I saw his training video and I wasnt impressed despite what they said. He looked to be slow and lacking the power of old. A young man like Jake would probably beat him unless he gets much better in the next few months

Pfs Yes I know what you mean. I was really against these MMA cross overs. They cant use their full repertoire of skills yet the boxer is on his home turf. BUT I have seen decent matches. But boxer always pretty much wins.

Pfs I am suspicious of the insurance side of this. It has got disaster written all over it. Shame on any promoter who would even consider this mismatch nonsense.

I'll bet £10 on Tyson, then. No way he'd lose to that clown.

PhilipMarc I personally think it's a scam and tyson will do what his contract says so keep your money in your pocket. He will get more money for losing 📉

Unfortunately boxing has become a joke, this match up is ridiculous, saying that I hope Tyson knocks him out

There’s no question that prime Tyson destroys Jake Paul. It’s not a good look for anyone involved really but i guess if it continues to make money these things will continue to happen

No idea who Jake Paul is, but a street fighter like Tyson never forgets how to punch.

I think Mike Tyson Is still good for his age. These Paul Brothers are just Youtube wannabes. There Isn't any decent heavyweights around now. The best were Holyfield, Foreman, Douglas, Morrison, & Bowe. Nowadays they just like to hug. Maybe this fight Is a lot to do with money. Maybe Tyson will get paid big to lose, who knows. I bet Paul wouldn't of challenged him when he was In his prime days. It will be Interesting though. Sorry I dont rate any other heavyweights. Just my personal favorites above.
