M&S Sparks App App Advent Calendar Prizes

Probably cost cutting. I think they have to put this on again to try and get your attention/custom as they're competing with other retailers who have calendars with (poor) offers too

I am finding many of the advent calendars are being used as a way of increasing sales not giving prizes. They should be on the deals page as they are not competitions. And you are right some prizes are really not worth winning but again they cost far less than advertising if it gets you on their sites.

Not impressed either this year, only received a % off products so far and no free treat as yet .

Last year I got a tube of hand cream. This year I hit lucky on day 5 with a free 100ml room spray worth £8. So me and another customer were looking where we could find this spray and they were placed near the tills.

Last year I didn’t get anything, this year free sweets so far a bit better and money off. I really want the free mince pies but I don’t go in there much so I’m not expecting to get anything else for free

I was very lucky I got the perfume on my first day but after that it’s been % off certain things within the shop. Hopefully you’ll get something before it ends.

Only had discounts so far but today I have this morning opened my calender and won an alphabet or nutcracker decoration. Unfortunately only have a foodstore in my town so probably won't be able to get one .

I found it handy as had free mince pies and ice cream bites but also the 30% think off nightwear so bought fleece pj for the youngest kids for Christmas.

I think it's hit and miss mind with some the offers and think each account is different with offers?

I have only had discount offers up until today, a free hanging decoration. But everywhere is out of stock. I was in today and got some biscuits and used one of the discounts. Something is better than nothing

I had free perry pigs on the second day & free mince pies today. Hoping day 12 is money gift voucher like last year

Only 1 door left! Maybe saving best until last? . It’s my birthday tomorrow too so would be a bonus if something good. Doubtful though.

Someone posted that they had around 7 gifts, I'm not sure how true that was, I think last year, most people got 1 or 2 gifts overall each.

Prizes are different for others.

Some people have had alcohol, others have had some sweets or chocolates, others seem to have had a mixture.

I'm grateful for most freebies to be fair, as they don't have to give us anything.

I did better this year . Got Percy pigs in a tin train and some frozen mini bite deserts .

I got a free packet of mince pies and then discounts on bits. Nothing of interest really

I thought the entire thing was awful this year

I received a free Percy pig bits (worth £5) and the fragrance society hand cream set (which unfortunately don’t live near a proper M&S to get only a food hall) other ones are a % off which won’t get used.

Clicked on last day had mince pies said 5 days to redeem went on app and it’s completely gone! Argh should have checked earlier again and walked to local shop
