National Sausage Roll Day
Ask a Question
If you didn't know already, today is National Sausage Roll Day.
Hopefully we will have a few in our Greggs Too Good To Go bag later.
Will you be partaking?
I buy the Greggs frozen sausage rolls from Iceland (taste exactly the same, pack of 4 or 8) and I have 1 left so I may pop it in oven when I cook dinner and have it later for supper!
Lynibis I've been buying the frozen ones and taking them for day trips with the kids, £4.50 I think it is now for 8 ,but still cheaper than £1.10 each in Greggs.
Midnightflower good idea so many peop!le spend a fortune on food on days out but I always take with me.
Finger on the pulse Chimp .Gregg's Magic Bag with Good to Go.Er mustard with mine.
TheChimp Yeah. Palmed me off with veg pasties and three boxes of yum yums .I aint getting any thinner lol.
TheChimp I neglected to mention the iced ones. Oh I did get 9 sausage rolls as well. Enough to feed an army. Two bags packed to the rafters. I'm taking a week out lol.
MelissaLee1963 Our bag was quite poor yesterday.
One baguette with hardly any filling, a sausage slice, a mystery sausage roll and a mouldy tasting doughnut.
Very disappointing
TheChimp Pays yer money and takes yer chances lol.My worst was a wholefood supermarket buy which cost £4.I got a sprouting turnip and some on the day veg sushi and a kombuchi drink which was like milk on the turn. Greggs is generally the best.
Not had one for ages - but did get a Greggs Vegan sausage roll as a freebie on a rare trip into town - and really enjoyed it.
