Natural wasp repellent will make them buzz off
Other
I don't know about you but one of my pet hates while sitting in the garden in the summer is wasps
I don't have a problem with bees , they are doing a good job pollinating and tend to leave you alone
But pesky wasps are unpredictable , and i have had many a sting from one over the years
So any method at keeping them away is welcome
This article suggests growing Roman chamomile (Chamaemelum nobile) which is a daisy-like plant with a sweet fragrance wasps hate but smell nice to us
Not only are they a repellent but they also have healing properties. It has been used for ages to treat digestion issues and anxiety. Also if applied topically, it can also help with skin inflammation and conditions like eczema.
And its very easy to grow
We all talk about superfoods, but i would class this as a superplant
I will be off to the garden centre very soon for a look

I absolutely hate wasps, I been stung a couple of times, I always run off when they come near me lol
martinlufc5637 Me too M, this flower sounds a good alternative with some additional health benefits too
Also i am sure i have seen them growing outdoors , any keen horticulturists spotted them growing wild ?
I was helping someone dig on their plot some years ago and hit a wasp's nest .It was horrid. When one stings it leaves scent for all the others to move in behind it .Bees die when they sting..wasps don't.I got stung by a hornet in Switzerland when I was a youngster as well.I keep anti hystimine close by at all times. It's a life saver for me.I love chamomile so I need to buy a job lot as well. Thanks for the heads up.
MelissaLee1 No probs M, the flower looks nice and good for your health so i will have a look for this too
