The Naughtiest Thing You Eat Knowing You Shouldn't

Other

If I have left over mash I just can't help myself. I fry it until crisp and golden and serve with two or 3 fried eggs on top! Nowadays it's only once every couple of months but boy do I enjoy it😋😋😋

Chocolate, oh and brownies...I'm a sucker for brownies! I did used to eat pot noodles with a bread bun covered in mayonnaise and dip it in but that was more my hangover cure but we don't drink now so I don't eat pot noodles now 😆

Never tried fried mash...doesn't it just turn to slop when you fry it?

PinkElephant26 no, you don't drench the pan with oil, but get nice and hot first and add little bit more as needed. When mash is cold it is quite stiff so crisps well but don't keep turning, let it get really crispy before you do. It is lovely with the fried egg yolk running over and a bit of ketchup.

I must admit to being an ex chocoholic but since diabetes 2 caught up with me I have weaned myself off sugar to a very large extent. My weakness now is carbs (hence fried mash very seldom) as it is another no no.

Lynibis I'm going to have to try it now! It's not often we have mash left over but I'll deffo save some next time.

I probably do eat too much sugar and will have to wean myself too.

Leannexxx I have been eating one meal, sometimes two, per day for a few weeks now and it agrees with me really well. I don't get hungry during the day and really enjoy my evening meal. They say fasting is good for you and I have lost nearly a stone.

Lynibis wow that great that you have lost that much I'm gonna say I'm pretty lucky with all the junk food I do eat I still weighing the same

Leannexxx that's good, I was the same when I was young but 'they' are right when they say it catches up with you, it certainly did with me and since I hit 30ish I have constantly been fighting the flab. If I needed more warning I then got gallstones (too much fat) and then diabetes2 (too much sugar).

I would love to eat a great big piece of chocolate cake without feeling guilty, but now I find it easier to just not do it 😂

Lynibis oh I put weight on since having my kids but I don't seem to go over 13 stone I know most people would think that's bad but I'm 5,9ft tall so I don't see it lol

My sons Jaffa Cakes and his crisps. He gets them as a treat every so often and I will sneak some of them. I eat pretty healthily so it's not too bad.

MrsCraig both those things I can take or leave so quite safe there. Don't like the bitterness of jaffa cakes but must admit that if I were to start on crisps one bag is never enough, I prefer them without the salt.

Baked Alaska

Vanilla ice cream with a marshmallow swirl (11%) and white polar bear shaped chunks (7,5%)

You asked, we delivered! After hearing fans’ pleas to bring back Baked Alaska, we churned up a fresh batch and are bringing it back to a freezer near you.

I googled it but won't let me upload the photo. Hope they do bring it back.........or do I???😂

For my it’s raw cake mixture, absolutely love it, you are suppose to clean mixing bowl of every scrape into baking tin/tray but I seem to have a problem doing this!

Biscuits are at the top of my list because they are readily available and instantly fix my craving for something sweet. However if you put pizza, kebab, chinese takeaway, chips, cakes, cheese, sweets or anything else considered to be junk food within my reach, do not be at all suprised if some of it disappears as if by magic. JLouM bought a box of chocs for my DIL for after her op, to give when she is ready for visitors at home. Yep, you guessed it, I have eaten them so will now have to buy another box. It does give me a certain sympathy for all addicts when I myself can't resist a box of chocs. (I didn't eat them all at once).
