I haven't a clue but generally the tax for things like this is included in the cost of flights, holiday package price etc.

The European Union is going to introduce a €7 visitor visa fee in 2024. Non-EU citizens and travellers from outside the Schengen zone, including the British, will have to pay a €7 application to enter

go to Turkey instead, been all over Europe, nothing compares to Turkey, price, culture wise ect...

Just unsure how this tax works if anyone else knows/ experienced or heated

We really shouldn't be travelling as much as we do anyway for both economic and environmental reasons. I doubt such a small fee will deter many people but you never know. Is it a 7 euro fee to enter the schengen zone or do you have to pay for each individual country if you travel through Europe?

I don't think there will be too much anger about the £7 euro charge for non EU citizens to enter the EU, but it's still a bit cheeky. It costs more than that to use some of their toll roads or buy a hot drink and something to eat in one of their roadside cafe's. Still, we are English and what are we good at? Moaning! So we probably will moan anyway lol
