Ask a Question
Whats the one thing which for you, is worth spending a little extra for?
For me:
- Frozen diced onions because I can NOT stop my eyes from streaming when cutting them fresh and it so uncomfortable
- Good toilet roll
- Foil - the cheap stuff isn't as good
There isn't anything that I don't mind spending extra on. That doesn't mean I don't spend extra on things like toilet paper, but I certainly don't like doing it.
I love cheese so I don't mind treating myself occasionally and spending a bit more.
With foil I buy turkey foil reduced after Christmas to use throughout the year as it works out much cheaper if you don't mind storing it.
i don't mind spending extra on Instant Coffee...the wrong coffee/cheap coffee is just not the same as the 'right' coffee!
Nescafe Gold all the way!
I don't mind spending extra on nice coffee ,meat , toilet roll ,washing up liquid I think the cheap ones don't last me long
I wont buy cheap Toilet Roll or Kitchen Roll, Tea or Coffee. I have always bought proper Butter. Not sure If there Is anything else.
If I can I buy it on offer and stock up on what I like. I make homemade pizza and like a certain type of mozzarella on it because it tastes nicer the cheaper ones are watery and not as nice
i won’t buy cheap toilet roll or thin kitchen roll or thin bin bags they split to easy i found a lovely coffee in lidl it reminds me of red mountain coffee reasonable price to i would spend a bit more on meat if it looks nice to eat and my cheese
Decent food and treating my grandchildren I enjoy and happy to do. Just given up tobacco as it is ridiculously expensive now
food shopping. we spend so much time in our homes and its such a pleasure to eat good food so i dont mind spending more on that within reason.
Holidays, I live for my holidays so I do not mind a bit extra or a lot extra. I will give up most things so I can afford my holidays.
I started making home cooked food a year ago and I won't scrimp on good quality meat and veg. Also gone for Sketchers shoes for comfort.
A few things like fresh seasonal vegetables and good quality vitamins/supplements by a trusted brand
Milk for me the dairy industry is a lot of work for very little rewards these days I would not mind paying more as long as it was going to the farmers
I'm always looking for value in most things really. I do like Thornton's toffees which I'm willing to pay more for and Costa coffee. I like to have decent headphones as I prefer listening to music via headphones than speakers. A lot of premium stuff I don't actually like for example chocolate. I don't like cosmetic stylised confectionary I prefer just focusing on which flavour I prefer. For Cola I like Pepsi Max Caffeine free and there is no cheaper alternative as good for me.
