Oasis Reunion
In the News
Not a surprise that oasis have reunited given the hints they dropped. My oh reckons it's cos one wants a new super yacht. Anyone interested that they have got back?
I was never a Oasis fan not my sort of music but they are probably both running a little low on money compared to in the past and don't like their income level falling so reluctantly have called a truce so they can make more money again. Good luck to them.
BonzoBanana yes probably right it's probably lack of money. I'm not a massive fan either
BonzoBanana I agree with you 100%! It's all about money - making millions and nothing else. And don't get me started this wasn't preplanned for the past two years (plus) regarding their so-called rift to fool their fans into thinking they are seriously getting back together.
I was more of a Blur man back in the day.
I'm guessing tickets will be hard to get, and cost a small fortune.
That said, If I won a ticket or two I'd definitely go.
I was never a fan of Oasis and could never understand all the hype around them. They are not even attractive, well not to me. The money must be running out.
eyeballkerry I don't really have an opinion on how they look being a man myself but one of them has weirdly small feet. Yes I'm so disinterested in Oasis that I don't even know which is which.
BonzoBanana I couldn’t tell you which one that was either. But that is not an attractive photo of him. I know he is probably on holiday and relaxing but still no.
Pair of arrogant twits and I would not waste my hard earned money on tickets to see them. Mind you wouldn't pay to see many artists when I can listen at home for free.
I would imagine that the tickets will be very hard to come by and dread to think of what the prices of them will be.
For many fans getting hold of tickets will be just be like trying to find an Oasis in the desert
I couldn't care less that they have reunited. Never liked Oasis. My immediate thought when it was announced was that they must need money.
I love Oasis, especially the song Cigarettes and Alcohol
I would go and see them in Cardiff, but I don't like big venues like the Principality.
And I'm too old
Definitely Not!
Absolutely rubbish 'music'!
Plastic Manchester Beatles nasal twanging through the songs is not my idea of a good night.
I’d love to see them perform together again but couldn’t justify the price of tickets and then hotel room etc on top cos closest venue to me is Dublin which is 100miles from my home. While I could maybe drive that if I’m having pretty good day there’s no way I could drive there, attend concert and then drive home after. I think ticket prices will be mad but bet they still sell out pretty quickly once they go on sale. Oh to be young and rich
I don't care whether they got back together or not, but a few fans I know of Oasis are really excited. They are hoping to get tickets to a concert, anyway I believe the only reason they got back together is because of money, they are set to gain a nice tidy sum from the tour, then no doubt album sales and I would imagine a new album will be released as well.
I think it’s lovely to hear and it has made so many people happy. I like them but I won’t be going to see them
I was never a huge fan of them but I'm happy for those who wanted to see it happen. However I must admit I am sceptical about it actually happening as I thought the brothers really hated each other and they haven't performed since 2009! that's a long time! Hopefully all goes to plan for the fans though
I was reading an article about it and it’s cause Noel has just had to pay out £20mn in his divorce settlement. Be interesting to see what their like on stage together
jms19 wonder who's going to throw their toys out their pram first and storm off stage
I can't stand the Gallagher brothers but my younger brother P is a massive fan of Oasis..
Such a fan he named one of the family cats Guigsy after band member Paul McQuigan co founder & ex bassist of Oasis!!
My nephew is an Oasis fan, he excited told me the news when he visited yesterday , I can't stand the 2 mouthy Mancs!!
I'd like to go but will be priced out no doubt. Gigs nowadays are extortionate especially when you throw in hotels & travel.
Anyways theeres a good chance they'll have another barmy & cancel the whole thing.
My 13 year old wants to go see them. Us parents are like no not happening as we aren't fussed and it'll cost a fortune to get to the uk to see them and that's before we look at tickets
I'd rather have a hot oil enema than even listen to a single second of those eejits. I'm fed up hearing about them already.
I have no interest in Oasis, £900 to watch a pair of 50 year old Man City fans bang a tambourine on stage while taking it in turns to sing out of key. By the way my daughter has asked if I can go online and get her some tickets, willing to pay up to £250. Madness, who by the way I would pay to see!
eyeballkerry ..Yes Madness, I would & have paid to see..
Suggs & the boys...The magnificent seven indeed..
Love a bit of Madness, brought up on their music, 2 skinhead sisters & 1 brother our of 5 siblings...
Our house was a Mad one on a Sunday night when our Mum & Dad went out to the Irish Centre..
Got my tickets anyway - can't wait. Promised each other if they ever got back together we would go and see them as we had babies to look after in the 90's and 00's so now we will see them first Friday in Manchester!
I personally have zero interest in, was was younger a guy I was dating took me to a tribute band that was enough for me. The prices for tickets are expensive, let alone people trying to re sell them. Good job they are trying to clap down on re sales at thousands of £
LL81 ..Exactly, my partner told me earlier that someone was charging £6000!!!
I can't stand greed of any kind..
I see this morning Oasis are going to add more dates to their tour. The tickets could be cheaper. Tickets were still available last night at £500.
Not a fan of Oasis at all.Much prefer Queen which I enjoy listening to.My all time favourite is Bohemian Rhapsody and I have a cat called BoHo!
I would like to go and see them but not prepared to spend £500 and also would need accommodation etc I’d rather put that kind of money towards a holiday next year.
It’ll be fantastic for those lucky enough to have gotten tickets. I hope no-one buys them from resellers such a con - hopefully the band have made it so they can’t be resold.
