MelissaLee1 Absolutely nothing wrong with that. Too many people don't give a jot about correct literacy and numeracy and checking and rechecking is the way to avoid mistakes.

Queenofdeals786 I sometimes wouldn't dry my hands properly after washing them(but hey they are still clean) and my husband would say..."ooh you're all wet" but I don't quite understand why water should be quite so terrifying.Unless a person is aquaphobic of course. It's only water not acid or excrement after all! Anyone else got any ideas on this one?

I'm terrible with OCD, l trim the grass at the edges with scissors and sweep fallen leaves up daily, my wardrobe clothes are all colour coordinated, my underwear has to match, l cannot leave a used cup, plate etc in the sink ever, nothing is ever left on the drainer, tins & jars in height and labels all showing at the front in my cupboards, cushions are always plumped on sofa. When l go shopping I'm forever tidying the shelves..l dislike the way l am but l like everything neat and tidy always my home is like a show home rather than a lived in home 😫😫

MelissaLee1 nope you wouldn't, l absolutely love a before and after.... when my sister use to visit me she would go through all my drawers and cupboards and turn everything upside down, mix and match my cushions in my lounge and bedroom, but it never bothered me because as soon as she had left it would be back to how she found it when she came within minutes 🀣

None of what any of you are describing is OCD. OCD is a horrific debilitating mental condition. It is not about being clean and tidy.

kitty88uk If you come home from your farm/ranch you definitely don't want your home with the mud or manure you've stepped on.

Besides, it's just cleaner to do so.

pato define mud. What is muddy to one person isn't to another. There's carpark where I live certain bays are muddy/oily and not nice. That could be muddy to a person. It doesn't bother me but j can see how others would be

OCD is very different to not liking dirt and mess. OCD can ruin people's lives as it can be debilitating for the sufferer. I'm not a massive fan of mess and dirt but it doesn't give me anxiety if something isn't in the right place or if my husband hasn't hung the laundry correctly. Being clean and tidy and being OCD are two very different things in my opinion.

Cringing over the title 'How Ocd Are You?' Sorry! But Should it not be 'How clean aware are you?'

OCD can be a debilitating disorder and I know people that is has taken over their lives and I swear I have it in some form myself.

It's not all about cleanliness and keeping things tidy. It is more about repetitive intensive thoughts that something bad will happen if you don't do the tasks or keep things a certainly way. It is a proper obsessive compulsion.

I'm not saying this to be a 'insert annoying word here' but I know how badly it can affect people's lives and when someone says they are 'a little OCD' it's makes me cringe and hope that anyone that is truly suffering from it doesn't hear that.

Maybe not the most correct terminology but we all knew what the meaning was. OCD is a catch all term like asthma there are many different types all bound into one single term

I've gotten used to leaving my sneakers by the door (inside, not outside) and since we have a fireplace, I've cut the wood to pieces as it's easier to transport it than in big piles.

Think Indians also leave their shoes by their doors and that's honestly how it reminded me to do it myself. Don't like wearing it at home.
