Office Plant Potted 14 Years Ago Has Grown to 600ft

In the News

Forget about day of the triffids , this is day of the ivy

An ivy planted in this office 14 years ago as a cutting is now 600 ft in length and is spread around from the ceiling and hangs down to desk height

It even has a sponsor tht also supplies seaweed extract to the office

Who knows what it will be like in another 14 years, they will have David Attenborough hiding in the undergrowth

I don't think I would want to work in that office, I would be most concerned about the ceiling coming down on me!

tumblespots I would just think it is a bit creepy, especially if you were working the weekend there alone , i would keep looking over my shoulder for movement , 'the little shop of horrors' comes to mind Image

telmel "You don't know what you're saying."

"But I do! It's the one gift I can give you. And if I'm in the plant, then I am part of the plant, so in a way... we'll always be together.”

I had an old hippy mate who had a cheese plant that was seeking world dominance as well lol

That is amazing. Not as big but we used to have a spider plant that we took cuttings from ‘ we called them babies’ so we then got more plants. This meant although the original did die eventually it had carried on through the babies.
