I've took up two new hobbies. One being coloing. And now I am in to jigsawing and I love it. I use to do it when I was a child. But the other day I was in a shop and saw this lovely jigsaw and though why not buy it and give it a go. And I am really in joing it. It's very rest full. And keeps your brain working. The heard's is getting the edging done. 
My first few months here, Ive done 3x 100pcs jigsaw puzzle and I framed them 
cross stitch took much time and I thought this more challenging.. but lately i stick to wee ones..
I all so do a lot of cross stitching and sewing and making things and I all so knit I love all my hobbies. It's nice when you knitted something and wear it. Because you know no else has it. And I love making things for the home. But I need a new sewing machine. Hope you are keeping ok. Not long now.
I started a 1000 piece jigsaw on Monday and finished it at 11.45pm on Wednesday night. It was a Christmas present from my grandson who gets me one every year and I WhatsApp him a pic when done! Trouble is, once I start a jigsaw everything else gets left except work and sleep and eating lol.
Lynnibis that was quick. I've been on mine for two weeks and I am still on the edging.
nicolajaynehend ha ha, I suppose it depends how much time you can afford to spend/waste on it. I can't stop once I start!
I love jigsaw, I even joined a contest in my college me and my friend was the contestant so sad in a very minute we couldnt able to put the last piece on time 
... but twas a good experienced 
Yeah I used to when I was a kid but nowadays it's too time consuming especially with work and having a family to look after. Cheers!
Jakemoss ive only just taking up again. Like you i did a lot of jigsaws when i was younger and in joyed it.
I do I live a good difficult puzzle from time to time good to keep the brain on its toes!
