I have no cinema were I live. And I am going to ordered the film. I do like history . But I am just asking will it be worth it. I've heared it's very good film. 
Hi Nicola, in 10 minutes I am leaving the house to go and see it with my granddaughter and her friend. I will get back to you tomorrow with my opinion.
nicolajaynehend well, I have to be honest and say it wasn't quite as good as I had hoped. I didn't come out of the cinema thinking wow what a great film but I did enjoy it and would probably watch again in the future.
My fellow viewers did not like it, they found it boring, but they are not as into history as I am. I was disappointed that it took such a long time to tell only half the story and realised it was going to end when Elizabeth took Mary into 'protective custody'. For me that is when the real intrigue began and her treachery (still open to debate) began when conspiring with English Catholics to take Elizabeth's crown. That would have been the interesting bit but instead we got her time as queen of Scotland and her disastrous marriages.
Anyway if you like a lot of dialogue spiced up with far too much sexual content for the time, you will enjoy it!
Lynibis sorry the film did not live up. It might be better 2 nd time around. I've find that out 2nd time is better why I don't know.
