Without writing where you live, what improvements and/or additional services would you find useful for either yourself or your Family/Community?
This idea was sparked by a conversation I had recently with a young woman who joined me to wait for a bus.
One of the things we found that we had in common was us both wanting a more frequent bus service and one that runs later than the last bus of the day at 6.48pm.
So I'm now curious to know of your opinion and viewpoint on what you say is needed.

We could do with a better bus service and for them to reintroduce the maternity services. At the moment you have to travel either one or 2 hours to get to the nearest maternity ward. Doesn't affect me personally as I won't be having anymore children but definitely needed for others. We need more NHS dentists too.
Obviously depends where you live - I mean rural , semi rural or city . I suppose I'm semi rural so we have an hourly service 7am to 6pm and that's it . Would of course be nice to have a later service but who pays for it ?
I presume that bus/tram services in cities ,urban areas can be run at a profit but in rural areas they are heavily subsidised . Most folk who use the bus do it via a bus pass , school kids and /or pensioners .
Sometimes I think it would be great to live in an urban area with a bus every 5 minutes but that's swings and roundabouts . Meanwhile round here we have to drive or take a taxi , an added expense obviously which luckily I can afford but there are many who can't .
