Outage on Most Instagram and Many Facebook Accounts

There is a major worldwide outage today affecting millions of Instagram and Facebook accounts where you are unable to access.
This will affect trying to enter the competitions until it has been fixed.
This doesn’t mean you can’t enter, you just need to wait until it’s resolved.

Luckily I hardly use either of these so has not affected me. I could go a lot longer not using social media. I think some people need a break from it.
eyeballkerry agree partly, but a good way to keep in touch with family. Mine are all over the place!!
jillylovesyou I agree with you. Things like keeping in touch is very important but I still prefer calling someone or visiting them.
eyeballkerry I use FaceTime such a great way to watch the little ones grow up, especially as I only get to see my nephews twice a year
I’ve got threads and instagram but Facebook still won’t let me in. Tried all ways of logging in. Doesn’t send codes when asked. Asks me to approve notifications in Facebook. I can’t log in!

JLouM you just need to wait, no need to change anything including passwords. The Technical people are working on it. You can try and clear your cache of cookies, but nothing else
I did notice my fb messenger went down for a few hours yesterday, seems to be back now though
I didn't notice, I don't use Facebook much, my feed was constantly ads, so I stopped looking
Lol.. I don't use social media at all. I try to keep myself out of trouble, that's exactly what these kinda apps cause. I get blamed wrongly enough as it is, without using a social media platform too.
