Would You Pay £100 for an Electric Spoon to Reduce Your Salt Intake ?
Ask a Question
So the Japanese have brought out this electric spoon that is said to increase the taste of salt in food you eat with it without the need to add extra
It stimulates the tongue to think it can taste more salt by passing an electric field to the tongue to stimulate sodium ion molecules
The experts say the japanese eat twice the recommended dose of salt daily , so this should help reduce this
I am all for improving your health but i think this is a little OTT, surely if you want to stay healthy you would just use less salt in the first place , and if you bought one of these for each member of the family it would work out quite expensive
I wonder if you could get the same effect with a sonic toothbrush, it would work out a lot cheaper
Why buy a spoon, just reduce your salt in take, I personally love salt on everything, all these new foods with less salt tastes bland
martinlufc5637 Exactly my point M, i personally think this is overkill , saying that , i bought a self stirring mug the other day online , i suppose you could say why bother , just use a spoon
So i don't know if the electric spoon idea is just laziness or genious , i just know it is expensive
I just wish they would invent the same for chocolate, something to help reduce the intake and weight
