Do People Have More Alergies than They Had Years Ago

Other

do you think people are so obsessed with making sure they don't encounter germs that they have created allergies in themselves

Suppose you could say that plus with some other health issues on top of it. Some people don't remember or care about history and make the same mistakes, or worse.

I have ended up with a big list of food allergies as well as dust and mould. Not sure why. All started about 7 years ago and got worse and worse. Ended up getting tested and had to competely change my diet. I can't eat most foods now. I have to eat potatoes, carrots and meat a lot. I do cook meals from stratch to avoid garlic, yeast and dairy which is in most things.

Yes I think that's probably true. I think antibiotics are to blame as well. I have developed so many allergies over the years. My first one was to cut grass. Then lavender. Then I became allergic to mould and mildew. Then tree pollen. Then thyme and oregano. And just this past month I found out I'm allergic to almonds 😟

I believe this to be true.

As for myself who has hay fever, I never had any problems during spring, summer and early autumn until 2 years ago. Apparently, around 1 in 5 of the UK population nowadays has hay fever, compared to just 1 in 8 in the early 1980s.

Allergy means a reaction to something not normal. So I would love to ask if it is not worrying to have no allergy at all????
