Do Your Pets Sleep outside
Ask a Question
Where do your pets sleep at this time of year. My cats still prefer to go out at the moment.
Always indoors, which is different from the cats i had previously, who used to prowl at night. My cats are big softies
My cat comes home in morning for food jumps straight in our bed and wakes in evening more food and out until next morning she has been like this for years vets have said she's a ferral cat even when I book her in for they get a red warning stating she is ferral
My older female cat Josie rarely stays out at night she tends to sleep either on my bed or close to it. My younger male cat Conker does spend some nights out. I don't have a cat door (too much other wildlife around here) so they are reliant on me to let them in and out. Conker does sleep I think in a neighbours shed which has a broken window so he sneaks in there sometimes. He is in most nights with maybe 1 or 2 nights per week outside. Now the nights are getting colder they are more likely to stay in. During the summer they are quite often out at night.
I have a Jack Russel. He hates being cold. Getting him outside at this time of year is sometimes a struggle let a lone keeping him outside. My cat I had previously was always outside. I was just his feeder.
Our cats now are indoor cats so never go out. Previously our cats went out and normally came in at night apart from hot summer nights when they turned into dirty stop outs
