I totally cracked my screen for my iphone and sent It away with a seller on ebay. He charged me £25 for a brand new screen and he paid the postage on the return. I paid for It to be sent off which was £2.50. I think you got totally ripped off. Back to your question, The repair shop has a legal obligation to put things right. Take It back to them with what Is wrong and let them fix It. You are totally covered If you paid using your credit/debit card too. The repair shop Is covered too If they have Business Insurance. There Is always the CAB or Trading Standards If In doubt.

Emerge11 omg is that all you paid he has the Google pixel phone the first time they fixed it they said you don't need your fingerprint scanner you can just use face recognition he told them he wasn't using that they weren't pleased I don't think they have a clue to be honest he was up and down the shop for 2 weeks as they had to wait on new screens coming in I told him I will collect the phone tomorrow and ask for a refund he said they won't give me one and I haven't to go iam so angry taking all that money and it doesn't work he paid with his bank card that was them giving him a £50 discount because of all the hassle so it would have been £300 surely that can't be right but my partner said it is that price thanks for your comment I will look into trading standards they will be getting a bad review left on there website

Kate1310, sorry to say, but I think your partner has been ripped off. I would report them to trading standards

Jackscot I told him that but he thinks they are right as all screens are more expensive now with having fingerprint scanner on them I won't be letting it go honestly iam so mad especially when I know his speaker was working before he handed it in thats him £250 out of pocket and the phone isant working properly so will have to take it to another shop to fix that thanks for your comment I will get onto trading standards
