Do These Photos Make You Feel Old ?
Ask a Question
Ok the article is based on things they had in america, but most were also avialable here too
I have to admit i recognised most of them to my dismay
I even managed to identify two of the mystery objects
The plastic container and the metal item with the coil interior
I wont say what they are but one is car related and the other photograph related
Did you get them right , and are you feeling old if you did ?
Oh dear and thanks telmel going by them I'm well and truly past it. I'm not car minded so have no idea what that mystery object is.
lilyflower Its a cigarette lighter L, the other familiar object is a 35mm film container , the days when you were very careful taking pictures as you had to pay to have them developed , not like today when you click away happily and delete what you dont like
telmel That's another item not on my radar. Don't smoke, not had a drink since 1988 and don't have a car but I do have a licence.
For me it's most of them on that list......
I disliked the alarm clock as it said everyone's parents had one of these. I had one of those!
Ok so I'm officially old 30 out of 32 pictures lol. Mostly because they were drinks and back in the seventies I was only introduced to Snowballs, Shandy and Cider (excluding anything stronger they may have used on me when teething).
EmmaWright762 If they had Advocaat on the list E that would have been one of my earliest experiences of trying drink
Myself and my brother sneaking into the kitchen pantry while our parents were out to try that strange looking yellow liquid in the bottle on the shelf
A few swigs and all seemed ok.
Ten minures later we were both fighting each other for the use of the bathroom to barf
martinlufc5637 I also remember most of them. Nothing wrong with getting old. Some bought back so great memories especially the roundabout, how we didn’t kill ourselves in parks back then, most the equipment was metal and built on concrete.
eyeballkerry when you go to parks now, it's just sad, small slides, restricted roundabouts ect.. we use to spin these at 100 mile an hour and hold on for our life's lol
