I don’t think that pineapple goes with English breakfast. That’s why usually at hotel breakfast bars if you want fruit they have that section. Cooked afterwards if you need that much. Why are historians saying that? Must be a reason.

Sure, why not. Pineapple is very nutritious - full of vitamins and minerals. I would try it 😀

Oh gosh not on a fry though have to admit I much prefer an Ulster fry with soda bread, potato bread and pancake along with bacon, sausages, vegetable roll, egg, mushrooms, tomato and black and white pudding (though u can have my share of black r white pudding). I love pineapple but there’s time and place for it and that’s not a fry

What is the reason for that, is there health benefits or are they saying that’s what people traditionally had? I suppose you have pineapple with gammon

Each to their own I suppose , but it wouldn't be for me Pineapple on a breakfast. I would prefer to have my fruit first in a bowl on it's own then cooked breakfast. Happy to have the pineapple with Gammon or on Pizza later in the day thou.

I could live with that. However, all these fads and fancies just swap one thing for another and if you are diabetic pineapple is a no no, but can have most of a full English if grilled.
