Police Auctions How to Legally Buy Stolen Goods

In the News

Ever wondered what the police do with all the stolen goods and lost property they recover if they can't return it to the owner? They sell it for cheap prices at police auctions, and if you know where to look, you can find an absolute steal.

Buying stolen goods at police auctions is completely legal. And the best part is that not many people know they exist, let alone that they're on eBay and other online auction sites.

Bumblebee Auctions, Police eBay stores and Auction houses are some of the places where you can legally buy stolen goods.

I guess it beats paying for storage! Makes you wonder why people don't attempt to claim their belongings.

Lynibis never been to these auctions myself but probably saving money on the items too as you won't be paying full retail price either. Some people might make a living off buying cheap stuff like this and selling it at a higher price.

ChelsieLou90 A newspaper article once said you have to show your passport to gain entry into the auction. No thank you.

I've not seen any close to me and I think when I saw some items on ebay they were collection only although that might have just been the larger items like bicycles. I did use to go to a local auction house and wondered if some of the stuff was ex-police.
