Postcard Dating Back 121 Years Finally Gets Delivered to the Property

We all know the royal mail can be a bit slow delivering post
But this delivery was more than a bit late, 121 years too late
It was posted on August 3, 1903 and arrived at Swansea Building Society on august 16th 2024, they are the present occupiers of the property
The intended recipient is long gone now , but there is an appeal out for anyone that might have known the person as distant relatives
One consolation, the stamp could be worth something and the postcard could also be collectable, it looks like a reindeer in a snow scene
As for the message on the card , it might as well have been sent in a bottle by sea, it would have arrived faster

I think a collector of old postcards..er like me..just popped one in the post box for a jolly one day.
Wow that's cool though I'm surprised they haven't given it to the local museum or tried to find relatives of the family
I wonder where it's been all that time. Probably slipped down behind a sorting bench or some such and only discovered when the office was updated. I am surprised someone didn't hang on to it for posterity!
