Poundworld Might Be the next to Throw in the Towel.

Hasn't been a good year for UK retail local/online stores as a good pile of em went under.

If putting aside that this is awful news for the 5k people employed, at the same time English streets would get slightly cleaner since these £1 stores are like, at every corner! Fish and chips and chicken shops should be next. 🙂

Yeah pound shops have had their day - its the day of B&M and Home Bargains now.

I actually susses that out a year or so ago and yes i do want a badge lol

I wish Kebab shops were next filthy dirty most of them and more concerned with molesting kids, dealing drugs, carousel fraud and making money than delivering good food!

garygemmell Yeah, the Kebab/Chicken/Fish and chips' shops are really dirty, the "cookers" don't use gloves or any protective equipment then at the same time they handle money on the till.

If people stopped going to those trashy "restaurants" then they'd be forced to go out of business but folks like it. I prefer to cook up some rice, some salad and tuna/meat or whatever at home.

A few years ago I saw an employee at Burger King in UK making a burger sandwich and she wasn't even using gloves.

I don't use gloves while preparing my own food but that's because I make sure to wash my hands first (and clip them nails). I honestly would never hire anyone to clean my house, I prefer doing it all myself.

Rockman Can I add those vile chicken shacks

Even the local chippy is now a suspect - My mother actually bought a fish and chips once from our local guy italian bloke and it smelled like excrement she had to throw it out - seems a lot of them go to the toilet and dont wash their hands but to actually make the thing smell like crap hmmmm

I learned long time ago never to send anything back in a restaurant - a place called shimla pinks in Glasgow and i tell no tales as it was a guy i knew from school went there with his girlfriend and they had to send the meal back 3 times - when they got home she was violently sick and was taken to hospital and had to have her stomach pumped - turned out all the cooks had wanked into the food.

Needless to say Paul went down to the restaurant and threw a chair through the front window and kicked the living crap out of most of the chefs - it was in the newspapers up here and the indian restauratn closed down for a while but it opened up later!

I eat in now i rarely go to restaurants - my dad worked with the health and safety guys and the stories i heard well.

You only have to watch Gordon Ramsays kitchen nightmares to see how even clean looking places treat the food.

I cook Thai most every night now fresh ingredients from the Chinese supermarket and given up meat just chicken now!

But deffo ould never visit a chicken-shit shack!

garygemmell Some people only learn their lesson when they truly get sick of the fast-food they ate, or well, not even then. It must have been a couple of years from now, I remember seeing a girl entering McDonald's and there just isn't a good way to put it, she was extremely fat and definitely with her health at risk.

I wonder if she's doing any better now.
