Should Football Teams Have Mix of Male & Female Players in Lineup?

Other

I think it would be great to see all football teams mixed with an equal number of female and male players and then either sex in goal. It would become so more strategic. Anyone have any thoughts?

No, keep it separate. Men sports with men, and women sports with women.

Football or soccer can be a violent sport depending on the player, one such as Pepe from Porto FC is far too aggressive he should try the NFL or Rugby.

Moreover, boys in girls teams? Hmm...

PhilipMarc Okay thats a definite consideration. But maybe the guys will chill out more with the presence of female players.

Absolutely not, the men's game is far more physical than women's, I've watched both, I find the women's game boring, some good players but overall it does not compare to the mens game

I find it all boring, not into it at all. My nephew and brother-in-law are big fans though. I think they should be kept separate though. However, I will never understand why women want to play it but they obviously do.

If it's balanced on both sides then I see no reason why not although it needs to be a separate category game. M vs M and F Vs F both work independently well.Mixed teams would be a different ball game altogether.

The problem is football is a contact sport and men are typically bigger than women so it wouldn’t be fair just from a physical side.

From a physical standpoint it wouldn't work. If you compare the men and women's games, the men run faster than the women and you could have issues with tackling.

No. It's not fair. We are not all built the same way. I. E. Body frames, muscles, dirty habits etc. They wouldn't let a transgender person enter into competitions etc, for exactly the same reasons. Whether they have gone through the full body change and everything. Each to their own. Mens football. Womens football. End of. A charity match etc, may be different.

Great for men who like to violently attack women, I can see a huge number of terrible injuries incoming unless they start controlling weight and height etc so they are more evenly matched. I sort of find it amusing when people are mismatched in size at first but then when the smaller one typically gets a huge pounding and injuries its not so funny. I saw a bit of a bum fight on a clip video on youtube which only lasted seconds but there was like a 60 year old short homeless person against what looked like a 20 stone, 25 year old psycho homeless person and in the few seconds that was shown in the video was pretty much the whole fight, you weren't missing anything. A ten dollar bill for 3 seconds work basically.

Definitely not! Keep the two separate. Personally I can't get into watching women's football.
