Problems with Dog Poo Where You Live?

Ask a Question

Do you have a problem with Dog Poo in your area?

I heard that one council only gave out 1 fine for dog mess in 4 years - should they be tougher?

Yes, the council don't care, we've had issues with a neighbour letting his 2 dogs 💩 everywhere, council was less than useless

In our village they name and shame dog owners who don't pick it up also our council Maldon are very good at fines for people who don't pick it up

jdible The problem is seeing the owner or dog in the act and knowing who they are to be able to issue the fine.

I have two dogs and walk them everywhere 🙂 I clean up after them, I find it gross if people leave it, just not fair on other people x

I even buy biodegradable lavender bags 😅🤣

I'm in Central London concurrently, and if my only concern was dog poo it'd be great, but there's so much filth everywhere, beggars (you don't know if they're actually homeless or not), shoplifting, people shouting for God knows why, etc.

It's just unacceptable, plus, I really hate using self-checkout machines and those damn things always run into problems. The guy told me "Don't click I brought my own bag because that'll end up making the machine show an error." and then I had to look for the barcodes to scan as if I was an employee of the store. -.-

That was at a Poundland which I won't be visiting again anytime soon because the prices just weren't worth it.

I remember the early 2000's being way better than what the U.K. has become today. Sigh.

In london it’s always an issue - along with puke, rubbish, butts and everything

Where I live it's very close to countryside but stupid dog walkers still insist on walking their dogs through the village and leaving their calling cards on the pavement for everyone to experience, it's just irresponsible and filthy

I saw a lad allowing his HUGE dog to dumb in the middle of the pavement next to a house before walkin goff. I saw a police offcier up the road and told him and we agreed for him to jump in my car and I took him to the lad. He was escorted back and made to clean up!

I visited my mum's grave , which I do at least twice a week. On a few occasions owner's have let their dogs mess next to my mum's headstone. I think it's absolutely disgusting and disrespectful.
