Do You Get a Proper Night's Sleep Every Day?
Ask a Question
I have been studying sleep disorders and I've come across a survey which showed that only half of the UK population get a normal 6-9 hours a night sleep every day.
Do you sleep the NHS recommended 6-9 hours a night?
I know parents or guardians who have babies and\or toddlers don't get much or any sleep.
Or do you suffer from a Sleep Disorder?
Here's a link that takes you to the NHS website and if you take their questionnaire there you can find out if you might have a Sleep Disorder or not:

I got a score of 17/33 which is really good. I try and get at least 8 hours of sleep each day but I don't force myself to fall asleep as it makes it harder to do so.
I might get 6 but my sleep is broken and i wake up early, i manage fine on little sleep but i know it isnt good for the body
I have a score of 29/33 which apparently indicates this: "Your sleep score is excellent and indicates that you're not struggling with insomnia at the moment."
I have a 10 month old whi is going through a growth spurt, sleep regression and teething all at the same time! He is up every 2 hours. He has never been a good sleeper though so I'm used to it.
i usually get 7-8 hours sleep a night, sometimes more on a weekend... my partner gets around 6 hours but he is always falling asleep on the sofa every evening! I don’t think 6 is enough for most people...
I usually get about 6 hours but it definitely doesn't feel like enough and the rare mornings that I get a lie in give me a whole new lease of life. It's hard to get enough when you are working and have young children.
No I don’t sleep very well. I’ve even been known to be sitting in the lounge as my husband gets up at 6 am for work. Not that he starts that early but he’s a fitness freak cycling and running so don’t feel sorry for his early start as it’s by choice. I envy friends who get a good nights sleep although one complains that she misses some of the best dramas on tv but I would swap with her any day and just watch catch up.
