Protesters Stealing from Supermarkets to Supply Food Banks
In the News
I was incensed to see this on tv this morning, another group of activists who think it's ok to break the law but really have nothing else good they can do with their lives.
Do they not realise that shoplifting raises prices for all of us and by doing that they push another group of people into food poverty thus putting more strain on food banks.
Why do these people not use their brains? I haven't a clue where my nearest food bank is so first of all make sure they are well publicised and that they need donations. If they are genuinely concerned donate themselves instead of stealing. Ask local supermarkets for donations and near bbe dates or if you can stand quietly by entrance/exit with a trolley with the address of the food bank prominently displayed and I am sure the kind public will donate. Also, how do we know they are not keeping the goods for themselves? Bad enough with shoplifters doing it for themselves!
I think shops could become things of the past with all the shoplifting L, i can see online shopping becoming the norm
Country is lawless, that's why they do it, there is no deterrent, a slap on wrist is all they get
martinlufc5637 and of course, it doesn't affect those in power who could do something about it, so it's a case of 'I'm alright Jack'.
If they want to donate to the food bank then they should buy it and hand it in, not steal it. I agree there are other solutions they should utilising. Our local supermarkets each have a donations box for the food bank, once a year my work does a collection for the food bank. There are much better options than shoplifting.
This stuff just annoys people that they may have been able to get onside to support their cause.
The activists should work more to earn more then buy the produce to donate like the rest of us.
Why aren’t these ‘activists’ working anyway? Just standing around and stealing!? What else are they doing with themselves?
JLouM Soros is known to fund stuff that causes problems, so it's up in the air.
Seems he's funding some these days
I thought I had misread the title... Nope.
People ask how to deal with shoplifting, well, the police needs to man up, be strong, and lock these a-holes for months.
JLouM Charity shops get thieves like any other shop. It's pointless expecting any morality from such people they are utter scum sadly. Drugs can be mind altering plus of course drug addiction means morality won't get in the way of a fix and others just don't care about their communities and other people.
