Pyjamas - What Do You Wear?
Ask a Question
When I was just writing the title of this chat topic I spelt it as “Pajamas” but that’s the US English version lol whereas the actual spelling has a letter “y” in it haha I didn’t realise as I usually use “Pjs”
So what do you guys normally wear? Winter season I’m wearing layers to keep warm lol
Now that it’s getting warmer it’s T-shirts out and thin material trousers
I don’t like wearing shorts cause I don’t like the feeling of my legs touching each other cause of that sticky feeling during the summer lmao
MrsCraig omg we are the same!! Haha that’s great to hear I buy clothes for that exact reason too same with shoes I haven’t bought a new pair and keep wearing same trainers and boots for years and they are still in good condition except trainers I just slip them on to do laundry outside but I don’t fully wear them so the heels are flattened lol
kitty88uk like 2 peas in a pod! I will buy new shoes and boots in the sales but they will stay in the cupboard till my old ones are worn out. I've got a pair of ugg style boots (not reall ones, cost about £20) that have some small holes at the heel and on the sole. I wear in the garden when playing with my son.
teaeatherley73 is that so I see, why not polyester? Not comfortable to wear? Think most of my clothes are made of cotton I don’t know cause I cut off all tags on my clothes lol cause I don’t like how it feels against my skin on back of neck and side of body where the tags are and scrapes against my skin
Pinkspirit sorry for the late reply I had to find this topic again as it gets pushed down in the notifications section
I’m easily cold during winters so I wear a few layers and thick socks lol
Nowadays I’m just wearing a tshirt and thin long trousers to sleep
I tend to sleep dressed anyway - so jeans and t-shirt often. In the summer I ditch the jeans. I sleep on the settee in a semi seated position often without covers. Just got used to it now. not slept in a bed for a few years
didbygraham lol you really wear jeans to sleep ?!! It’s so uncomfortable and has that tight feeling lol
Is that so hope it doesn’t affect your back sleeping in that position
kitty88uk the jeans are very baggy which helps - and my back seems ok - I actually get more uncomfortable lying down flat!
didbygraham is that so that’s good to hear that the jeans are baggy and comfortable to wear. Oh lol haha you can sleep well lying flat how odd haha
I usually wear a dressing gown. But I only have a thin blanket to cover me, and something on my legs
I don't wear anything for bed, even in winter I'm in the buff lol , I don't like pyjamas at all
martinlufc5637 lol really?! Even in winter?!! It’s gets so cold !! Sounds crazy haha oh well each to their own
Matching shorts & top pjs in Summer or a lounge wear playsuit. Thicker/longer pjs in winter.
Glitterandgold nice i do have some pj T-shirts and trousers that match but I most mix and match clothes wear anything loose and baggy to sleep during the summer
Yes agree with you thicker and longer clothes to cover my back when it’s winter season lol
Just a pair of shorts or boxers can't remember the last time I wore pyjamas think must. Have been when I was a teenager I hated wearing pyjamas back then Lol
tara73ziva lol that’s true so I wear loose baggy clothes!! Prefer to be comfortable
So what clothes do you wear to sleep?
tara73ziva lol cool each to their own! Haha what about during the very cold winter seasons? I’m sure you must wear thicker clothes to sleep to keep warm!
kitty88uk even in the winter I still don’t were pjs but I do have the teddy quilt cover and flat sheet so it’s still warm
tara73ziva wow I can’t do that lol I get both so cold in winter and very during summer!! it’s annoying lol
Teddy quilt sounds very warm!!
tara73ziva I see, cotton sheets sounds lovely and soft to use to sleep
It gets too cold during winter season! Radiator doesn’t work!
And now it’s not even summer room is warm! Summer it’s worse even with windows opened it’s very hot
Living alone I do not care what I look like in bed so t-shirts that are past being smart are demoted to nightwear.
I wear during the Autumn/winter lots of clothing to sleep in. Thermal long sleeve top, fleece pyjamas, fleece top and blanket fleece top. At the moment I'm wearing cotton pyjama bottoms and thermal long sleeve top as it's abit warmer. I don't seem to get to the point where I can wear a t.shirt. Always too cold!
I buy pyjamas wear in house but have to take bottoms - just have bed knickers bottom half as too much material I get caught up. Just wear the top t bed if too hold it’s slung off in the night.
