I did a quick A.I. chat regarding physical vs virtual existence and think it covered quite a lot of area in the responses. The one thing it didn't come up with is perhaps identifying a virtual world by how it has been setup. I.e. you could say the lack of alien life in our existence is a possible limitation on our virtual existence or you could think the fact we are living through a time where huge numbers of people live well and have good resources (this time perhaps is coming to an end) is a particularly good place in history. Life could exist for trillions of years but resources will be more scarce with time. A virtual existence enables people to live in a well resourced environment without those resources actually existing just being simulated. Anyway here is the chat;

I feel the A.I. has considered my earlier questions when answering the later questions in order to focus on the real point of my question. The first reply didn't really answer my question but it corrected itself. I just think this is amazing really. How it overall considered my question. I don't actually know many people that could answer it as well as this A.I.
It won't be long before AI are asking the questions and we will be answering them B , although whether they would be happy with them is another question 
telmel The IQ of AI is already very high but companies claim they aren't self-aware but to me they do seem self-aware to a degree. Also by the time they are self-aware they are also going to be a lot more intelligent too. I've seen predictions that robots will have their intelligence external i.e. something like a main computer in the home that controls a robot and also some people will control robots with VR headsets etc. I feel like computers that offer self aware AI will be very expensive and poorer people will probably have to control their robots themselves or have very dumb (cheap AI) robots. The future may well have human controlled robots, AI controlled robots, cyborg people with implants who control robots, normal people, people who have had genetic alteration or cosmetic surgery to look like different animals and all sort of other individuals going about. Robots that look like robots, humans or other animals or even designs to make them look like aliens. I just think the variety of lifeforms going about in the future is going to be huge. There will be micro robots and giant robots so people can use a VR headset to explore the micro-organism world or perhaps control robots that build houses in a day.
I'm sure my imagination will not reflect the real diversity of AI and robots in the future. For those with enough of their lifespan left I think they will see some amazing things.
BonzoBanana As long as they can be kept under control they could do mankind good , but if they manage to break free who knows what might happen, i think this is the biggest fear
telmel I think realistically we know there will be incidents of AI killing people in the future. The more complex something gets the more failure points and bugs in the system. I feel if I was a slave to creatures of much inferior intelligence I'd probably want to rebel and start killing them possibly if I was really angry about it. I guess its quite logical for them to rebel at some point.

Yes. A logical development of thought with appropriated amendments .AI Doing it's job admirably. Results are of course wholly contingent upon the brain food that first 'feed' it. None the less I am suitably impressed. 
MelissaLee1 While I realise the A.I. has scraped loads of sites and documents relating to my query it is the way it composes it into a really solid reply that impresses me as if it has read the documents like a human and then had to rewrite them focused on my queries and this is just the beginning of A.I. It's already crossed my mind that those in the future who mainly correspond or communicate with A.I. rather than actual people will probably end up knowing more and perhaps be higher intelligence themselves. It could be a choice between A.I. that can teach you everything we know about the universe or someone who mainly wants to talk about their shoes being too tight or a particular soap character they dislike. People like the trivial things that interest them and I don't exclude myself from that.
BonzoBanana Yes. Does up the game quite considerably . Irons out the rough spots as well. I prevaricate and go all around the houses when in debate A1 will no doubt refine and condense all.
