Knew him from many films and often cast as the bad guy. If you have to go I can think of worse ways, hope I go same way.

I've not seen a lot of stuff with Ray Liotta in. I seem to remember there was a prison movie on an island or something that I watched with him in. I've never seen Goodfellas. I think I started watching it but lost interest, not really my sort of film. Seemed a pretty decent actor though. I don't think he did much science fiction which is mainly the sort of movies I watch probably 90% of the time.

I have not seen everything he's ever done, but his name and face are something I can easily recognize 'cause he's that good and memorable. Well.. was. 😞

Ray Liotta was in the Sopranos movie:

There were talks for a Sopranos spin-off series and I would've loved to see him part of the cast, he'd been perfect for it. After all, he was one of the best Italian-American actors.

James Gandolfini also left too soon, just at the age of 51.

All the good Hollywood actors are departing and what you're left with are nepo-babies (a term for people who got the job thru nepotism).
