Re Waterproofing Coats?

I've got us all waterproof coats last week and they are great but I've noticed today that mine has already started leaking through turns out it's only for 2000ml so that's meant to me light rain has anyone used any waterproof products? That actually helps keeping them dry I have looked online and there are a few different ones but what to know if they work

Leannexxx You could try scotchguard L, or a similar product, you might find a cheaper version on Amazon
My husband uses Nik wax waterproofing. Just google them to read about their products.
I bought one years ago, and got caught out, thinking it was waterproof, but it was just shower proof. I now always buy regatta waterproof jackets, you don't get one drop of water come through. I now never buy any others.
LyndaSarrington my issue with regatta are the sizes they never fit me on the arms they are always to short
Leannexxx that's a shame, I've always found them okay. Are your arms extra long? Not being rude, but we are all different shapes and sizes.
