Red or White Wine
Other
I love white wine or rose wine. But I can not drink red. It gives me a headache and makes me feel unwell well. What do you like red or white and why.
I have never actually had red wine. But I have had white and I liked it. Prosecco is nice.
nicolajaynehend I am very well, thank you for asking. Please tell Eddie I said hi back.
RegularComper90 will do. Hope the weather not to bad were you are. We had gale force winds and driving rain. And it's been icy icy cold here..
nicolajaynehend It hasn't been raining or that windy, but it has been really cold.
RegularComper90 I can't stand the cold. I Can put up with rain and wind. But not the could.
nicolajaynehend I hate being cold. I find it harder to warm up than to cool down.
Don't like any wine and rarely drink alcohol as past experience has shown me that I have my hangover before finishing my third drink!!!
Red wine.....just like red grapes more and their flavor is totally different than the white ones..
I am a white wine fan. Can't go near red wine except in cooking, it smells like a migraine to me
I prefer reds, as they are bolder, smokier and heavier - suits my palette more. But overall I do not like wine - I prefer the stronger stuff, like whiskeys and brandies
Hspexy do you have your tonic or water with your whiskey. Or do you have it neat. I know a lot of people drink whiskey neat. I do not like the stuff.
nicolajaynehend lol I am one of those who likes it neat but sometimes I may have it with ginger ale, or some lemonade for a hot toddy
Is it only cheap red wine that gives headaches? I was having a conversation with someone recently about this and they said we just need to buy better quality bottles! Certainly like a red (especially with cheese!)
No .. that's a myth. It's more about the tannins in some reds which some people react badly to.
Jamala thank you for putting it right. You know your wines. You could have a job in the wine trade.
Any wine that has alcohol in it will do it for me I'm not very picky but usually I tend to go for red
Red wine for me as it tastes better than white for, and you certainly do get what you pay for!
A really, nice smooth red wine is Apothic Red for anyone interested I like...Normally around £10-£12 a bottle, but sometimes on offer for about £7.50.
Costco had boxes of 6 bottles of this for around £36 making it £6 a bottle which is cheap!
I highly recommend it!
im realmy strange as I prefer red wine when it is cold or hot as in sangria or mulled wine. But I don’t particularly enjoy it how you are supposed to drink it
I much prefer red wine, doctors say it is much healthier for you in moderation, of course. I do love gulping it with some meat after dinner.
