Regifting

Do you do it? Do you consider it a clever way to unload unwanted presents? Or is it just simply a cheap, embarrassing thing you do that you don’t want people to know about?

When someone gifts you with something, that gift then becomes yours. And as it's now yours you should be able to do what you want with it. But I agree, that it can be a little embarrassing all the same. 🙂

Hope you had a good Christmas btw.

I see no problem with it as long as you keep tabs on who gave it to you and don't gift back to the giver! What is the point of an unwanted gift lying around gathering dust if you know someone who would really like it? By gifting it on you save money ( have not had to spend out on a gift) and someone else receives something they like. I make sure giver and new recipient do no know each other!

Lol indeed - it’ll be very embarrassing if you ended up giving it back to someone. Definitely can’t be doing that!

I regift alcohol! I don't drink so whenever someone gets me alcohol I give it away. I have given away competition wins as gifts before. I have never actually gotten a gift that I didn't like or want.

I love regifting things I'll never use. Saves me time and money. Plus they'll never know about it so WIN WIN!

No issues with it although somewhat embarrassing for the benefactor if the recipient finds out it's double gifted.
