Regrets, I Have a Few, but Then Again Too Few to Mention
Other
So so so proud tonight having just returned from granddaughters Masters graduation. It was lovely to see all the young people in their gowns and mortar boards, lovely ceremony, very historic with all the tutors parading into the hall in their gowns and caps. It was happy but at same time I felt a little sad at missing out on the opportunities when I was young. I wouldn't swap what I have now but do wonder what might have been..........do you?
No wonder you are proud, many congratulations to your granddaughter. We are all allowed a few regrets but every decision made, right or perhaps not well thought out at the time, shapes who we are today. The teenage me (expected to become a teacher, 2.4 children etc) would never have believed where life has led me.
