Renting Clothes and Accessories

I’ve never done this before, but apparently it’s become trendy for people to rent designer clothes and handbags, especially if you’ve got a special occasion in mind
Do you do this? And where from?
I’d rather not spend beyond my means - will probably have a heart attack if I accidentally damaged a rental item
One of the safest ways is to copy the designer dress/outfit and get say a design clothes maker student to make it for you its a lot cheaper than renting n no deposit to lose if it does get damaged plus you get to keep it x if the design maker adapts the outfit especially for you then its a one off n u can be sure no one will have the same outfit x
