What is the Most Rewarding Part of Your Career?
Ask a Question
I am a florist. For me it would be when I create floral designs for funeral flowers. To know that the family feel a small sense of joy when they see the beauty of the flowers on a day which is so dark and hard.
I'm a teacher. There are numerous parts of my career that is rewarding. Hearing the pupils tell you about what they have done at the weekend, them showing you photos of their adventures, when they sunrise themselves and do well on a test. When they achieve their exam results, when they are excited to see you and will come into your room just to say hi. There are so many to pick from.
I work for my daughter in her pub and the most rewarding part is at the end of the day and she has made profit. So many pubs going and fingers crossed hers will not be one of them.
I used to foster teenagers and although incredibly challenging it was the most rewarding thing I have ever done. They have all ‘aged out’ in their middle to late 20’s. Problem is I currently have 11 grandchildren- i have started Christmas shopping!
The most rewarding part of my career wasn't sitting in a legal office being a respectable secretary. Moreover it was when I could no longer undertake employed work and took on years of voluntary posts. Doing voluntary work filled my days with such fond memories, I mixed with all types of people and learned so much from them.
I'm a personal assistant and l love the look and chats with the elderly people l look after, from taking them for lunch at a garden centre to cutting their hair, manicures & pedicures, meandering around the shops or cooking them an evening meal and getting them ready and to bed... The one on one regular face they see daily/weekly puts a smile their face. That's so rewarding for me
