Scratch and Sniff Stamps.
In the News
France have just issued a scratch and sniff stamp that smells like a baguette. It was released on the feast day of St Honore patron saint of bakers.I wonder if we will bring out one smelling of roast beef and yorkshire pud.
telmel Great answer. If it was our stamps it would probably be fish and chips or a chicken tikka. Depends which popular list you look at.
Haha love this. I'd love these over here. They are brilliant. Great idea. Yhe French are amazing for stuff like this
This is a great idea and i’d love to see it happen here. Wonder how long the smell lasts for and if it really smells like baguettes
Doesn't look like it can be used to send letters, so it would have been a lot more nostalgic to use Francs than, ugh, Euros.
I still miss the Pesetas (Spain) and Escudos (Portugal). Some Brits have no idea how precious it is that the Pound currency still exists and hasn't been replaced by the Euro.
And speaking of which, if the U.K. rejoins the EU under a Labor govt, that likely means the end of the Pound currency, sadly. I really hope they don't do that.
Omg if true, I love this, I would definitely buy UK versions if they had them, brilliant idea
When is a gimmick not just a gimmick? When it's a stinky stamp lol. I'm sure children big and small will love this but I'm not going to be rushing out to buy any soon. I guess they are hoping we all want to bag-it one asap lol
Whatever next, I hardly ever need to post any mail these days but I would not buy a scented stamp.
Bearing in mind how expensive stamps already are I can't see people wanting to pay more for a scented stamp!
