...........take you to the entry form, you fill it in and then they tell you to log in or proceed before you can submit! You then have to fill in another form and wait for a verification email!
I know! Or you fill it all in and wait but no idea whether it was submitted or not!
Yes! This frustrates me too, it just looks like it has reset the form so you don't know if it sent or not!
So annoying when competitions are flagged as expired when they are not, all for the sake of a few points.
Agree, as we have to put a closing date surely it is not beyond the technical to have the report over ridden if the date is still current. Having said that, I saw a comp yesterday that was not meant to close until well into October, but when I tried to enter it said that the form had been deactivated and no further submission being taken.

Whilst the original poster gets a heads up if their post is reported as expired we do too. From our side we'll check it and if it's not actually expired we'll mark the report as incorrect which will automatically remove any points awarded. It's not a perfect system but hopefully acts as a deterrent to those incorrectly reporting things just for points.
Sadly we cannot rely just on the date as sometimes it's accidentally incorrect or promoters take down their competitions before the official end date.
Please do continue to speak up when things are irritating or you have ideas for how to improve LD. I'm/we're always lurking and reading and helps us continually improve - there have been countless times where things have been suggested that we've not even thought of! 
Nice one, thanks Kelsey. Nice to know people can't 'steal' points for no good reason. Quite rightly we can't see others points so therefore dont know if they get taken back, good to know it's all fair.
