How much do you spend on Easter Eggs for your kids?
I'm going to get one of those Egg Hunt kits that the Supermarkets do then get a couple of the bigger ones so maybe around £10-15.
Normally about £6 as they don't eat that much chocolate and they get them from family members too so what doesn't get eaten gets melted to make rice crispy cakes
Leannexxx I tried melting it a couple of times and it tasted weird - not sure why!
SamGoodship No. I would if it was something I liked at a reduced price- probably after Easter but generally no I don’t need to.
I don’t buy Easter eggs before Easter anymore. I used to get a large bar of chocolate for my children when they were younger now I wait to get the reduced ones.
eyeballkerry Never get them reduced in the supermarkets anymore, they usually run out days before with people who have forgotten panic buying lol
Always buy when on offer. Have bought 6 of the £2 offer eggs from Sainsburys and 6 of the 75p offer eggs from Morrisons this week , some will get eaten well before easter thou. In fact one may have disappeared already
look for any good supermarket deals, but generally one large egg each and a couple a few multiple packs of creme eggs etc. We still have the annual Easter Egg hunt in the front room. (my son is now 21 but still loves it!)
I buy him the small eggs, usually about £1.50. I get him one and his grandparents usually buy him one. I don't spend more than £5.
Usually try and find the deals or offers, 2 for £5 or 3 for £10 depending on sizes. Prefer where possible to buy a day or two after when they are reduced
