I have never been on a sun bed in my life and never will. I can not see the point. My daughter was in one last week before she went on holiday, to Peru!

I used to use sunbeds all the time, it must of cost me a fortune but never even thought about it. I just wanted to be brown, I had sunbeds every few days for 12 mins turbo. I unfortunately got skin cancer on my leg so never go on them anymore.

Never been on one but a few women at my work use them regularly, seems a bit pointless cause they’re constantly being asked where they’ve been on holiday only to say nowhere the tans from a sunbed 🤣

Leannexxx I love being pale and have no desire to tan. I am so pale with very fair hair too, in fact I used to be called Casper at school! I hated that but loved it when younger being called an English Rose lol.

Hindsight is an amazing thing, l went on sunbeds from the age of seventeen, once a day then l brought my own one and would use it for thirty minutes everyday, then l had a boyfriend who owned a salon and went on one everyday with tingle heat cream, this was for thirty years, l hopefully don't have skin cancer but have aged my skin so l definitely regret using them too look healthy and brown

I haven't used a sunbed in years, I tan quite easy so no real need to use them, my neighbour is constantly on them, she's 40 Ur old but looks 60 it's totally ruined her skin

I have never been on a sunbed and I don't plan to either. I don't see the point in them. My best friend used to use them and she would be on them 3 or 4 times a week. She doesn't use them at all now. Luckily she had no issues from using them.

I would never use sunbeds. Factor 50 all summer for me and my kids. We age quickly enough without making it worse by damaging skin

I think that we should be happy with the skin tone that we were born with and not seek to change our natural make up. I am olive skinned so no need for sun beds as I tan easily.I have recently had radiotherapy on my upper body and I am advised not to let my skin be exposed to the sun for a whole year.

Not a thing, nothing, zilch, zero, nowt, nought, I mean why would anyone pay to damage their skin or in the worse scenario give themselves skin cancer or risk getting sore with sun burn? Sunbeds are for faking a sun tan, pre tanning etc all of which are vanity based.

By tanning your skin you make the skin less efficient at absorbing Vitamin D and there are a huge amount of illnesses linked to vitamin D deficiency like cancer and dementia and many, many others so not only are you risking cancer from the sunbed but also because you have less vitamin D and finally because many will use suntan lotion which is also a cancer risk because of the chemicals it contains.

Much better to just enjoy the natural sun, expose your skin to the sun for a short while when a very sunny day and then cover up again. It's cheap and its safe and will provide ample Vitamin D in the summer months. In the winter white skin is a huge benefit for creating vitamin D and even then most of us will need to take Vitamin D supplements. A light tan that disappears into the winter is best.

Also excessive tanning prematurely ages the skin so you will look old before your time.
