Actor and singer David Soul, best known for his role in the television series Starsky & Hutch, has died at the age of 80, his wife Helen Snell said in a statement.
Massive part of my childhood watching that and I remember some of his music don’t give up on us and silver lady. . RIP thoughts to his family

Yesterday, I bought the box set of dvds and the toy car
Loved Starsky and Hutch but he was also a bad cop in the Dirty Harry series with the iconic fight on the old aircraft carrier. Brilliant film - he will be missed by many I am sure.
I quite liked Starsky and Hutch but the main thing I enjoyed watching him in was 'Salem's Lot' with James Mason. I thought that was a really good mini-series.
