Where Do You Store Your Skincare Items?
Ask a Question
I have skincare items in a patterned box that my mum got for free from Laura Ashley when they had a shop that was closing down and it’s on my bookcase lol
I do have a vanity table but it’s stuffed with other items, clothes and underwear in the drawers and I keep body lotions on top of the table
I try to put toiletries in cupboards until I start to use them. Once open they’re on my dressing table partly hidden by a triple mirror.
I am a home litterbug when it comes to skincare items. Some are in the bathroom, some in the living room and others on my dressing table. Basically they are left where I am most likely to need them. I have hand cream in all the rooms I use most.
EmmaWright762 haha but I know what you mean! As sometimes I can’t find lip balm as the ones that are a round tin or stick I’m always losing them
I have a small pot from skincare samples I keep them and squeeze out hand or body creams into them and keep them in my handbags A very useful tip!
My chest of drawers is cluttered with so many different pieces, plus have more in the bathroom.. need to sort through everything and get some wicker baskets desperately.
Toiletries and skincare are stored in the cupboard until they are ready to be used. Then the skincare gets put on top of my chest of drawers or in the bathroom depending on what item of skincare it is.
kitty88uk we have a large cupboard in our spare room where it all goes. It is full of competition prizes. Haven't bought toiletries for years as I've won them or been giving them as presents.
I've got a Serum, face cream, eye cream and body butter on my chest of drawers. Then Deodorant and some perfumes.
I'm a neat freak l don't like anything toiletries or perfumes on show, l have a draw for all these things as like my hairbrush, comb, tongs, hairdryer and all hair accessories are in another draw. Sad l know
Pinkspirit no don’t say that! You are not a neat freak and it’s not sad! I have my skincare that I’m using in a box its on top of bookcase I don’t like dusts on the bottles lol I’m a neat freak myself too haha
I have them in different places depending what I am using them for. I have some in the bathroom cabinet, some in the bathroom drawers, some on my dressing unit and some by the side of my bed.
eyeballkerry me too I have a small pot in living room, lip balm on bed to use whenever, a few on top on bookcase shampoo and face wash lol use it like a table lmao body creams on vanity table face creams and not used lip balms in box again on bookcase haha
kitty88uk I even have some face cream in the car as my face gets very dry. I never wear make up unless it’s a really special occasion.
eyeballkerry yes me too I stopped wearing bb cream for a few years now, only wear it when going out to cover my cheeks they get pinky red when I get too hot lol now don’t bother lol
kitty88uk I apply anti aging sun screen everyday to my face. Hopefully it is doing some good. Even use it when the suns not out.
eyeballkerry yes I read even on cloudy days there are still uv rays! Best to apply spf every day! I use Nivea face cream spf 15 lol I know it’s best to use spf 50 did buy a Biore one but even reduced costs damn £9.99!! got it to add up to £20 for free delivery
kitty88uk I use superdrug own anti aging face cream when it’s on offer but recently found Tesco do a cheaper one. Mine are usually factor 30.
eyeballkerry yeah I buy Superdrug’s own body creams too! The big tubs of 475ml but sometimes the floral scents are strong, I recommend their oats one with the blue plastic lid! Thick ish texture cream good for dry skin!
How much is the Tesco one, what does it look like?
Any toiletries are kept in the bathroom cabinet or drawers ready to use, all hid away neat and tidy.
Depends I have a box and shelf with things waiting to be used. Normally what I'm using is in bathroom or bedroom shelf but when very hot some things go in fridge
Imnotcheap that’s a good idea to keep in fridge lol but there’s never any room full of foods!
I recently stocked up on skincare items and they are in bags lol
