Over the past week on Storewards I've noticed the cash out option for PayPal is in US dollars as opposed to the usual English pound.. I emailed them today and this was their response
Hi,
Thank you for contacting us.
We are aware that it might be confusing to see dollars instead of pounds as PayPal rewards and we are truly sorry about it.
Due to a recent error with PayPal we had to make the switch. We hope to go back to normal as soon as possible.
For the time being we introduced USD which cost less to purchase.
Again, we apologize for the inconvenience and hope for your understanding. We are working hard on fixing the issue and returning your currency.
Kind regards,
Storewards Team
Nadiaparveen No they have not changed, hopefully the PayPal ones gets fixed back to £’s!!
I did notice this and first thought it was still in pounds so getting a better deal then realised it was dollars. Other sites use dollars, I haven’t got an issue with it but I do redeem Amazon on here as it’s a better deal.
Jerseydrew Google search it!! Earn great rewards for uploading your shopping receipts
Jerseydrew it's an app which rewards you for uploading pics of your receipts (food or anything else) each receipt is worth 600 points plus they give out daily bonus points for tuning in everyday. They provide vouchers for both PayPal or Amazon rewards and it's received instantly.
Nadiaparveen Hey, thank you for your helpful comment. We've emailed you a £1 Costa coupon to say thanks! It has gone to the email address on your Latest Deals account.
I did notice but I just thought it was a glitch in there system but hopefully it will change back to £ soon
I noticed amount changed but not noticed the $ thing was fine when I cashed some out on Monday
Imnotcheap I cashed out 1 dollar the UK rate for 1 dollar was around 78p so that's what they gave me.
Nadiaparveen just checked Amazon is still £ that's why I got the £5.
My son was impressed that I quickly and easily got the £5 so I had enough to buy him a present, ofcourse he didn't think I'd actually been saving the points for a while
