It seems ships are being attacked on the canal route so cargo goods have to go the long way around the African coast to get through. So our things might get more expensive because of the extra fuel. If only we could produce things over here in the UK.
We can, we should and we could. But what the heck I haven't got a degree in economics or world trade etc. But at the end of the day it's always the poor in society who suffer.
It’s more frightening that as a nation we’re bombing along with the Americans to protect the cargo shipping.
This has been happening for along time. It Is like the film with Tom Hanks - Captain Phillips. He just came through the Suez Canal and Somalian pirates hijacked the ship.
Oh great more massive price increases, i bet if/when they do sort out the problem the prices won’t drop again though
