Supermarket Cashback vs. Restaurant Vouchers: Which Would You Prefer in the App?
Latest Deals
Hey everyone, we're thinking about the next big thing for our Latest Deals app.
Which would you prefer:
- Supermarket cashback (like Checkoutsmart)
- Restaurant vouchers
We’re exploring both options and wondering which to do first! Supermarket cashback would be similar to ClickSnap or CheckoutSmart. Restaurants would be similar to VoucherCloud or VoucherCodes.
Thanks for your help!
I would prefer supermarket vouchers as I don’t go to restaurants enough to spend vouchers.
I would prefer supermarket coupons as we don't eat out, so we would use supermarket coupons more.
supermarket would be better as at the moment with the government deal you can get money off already.
Exciting stuff! great to see the progress I would say supermarket coupons are more useful, especially long term
Supermarket coupons I’m assuming the restaurant vouchers will be for the chains, like Nandos or Frankie and bennys, and I don’t like those places
Supermarket coupons as they are more useful, restaurant coupons would only be used as a treat
Hey to clarify, perhaps my choice of words wasn't great. By "Supermarket Coupons" we mean like Checkoutsmart where on select items, you have to buy the item full price, take a photo of your receipt, and then you'd get cashback.
I've now updated the title and description of this Chat thread to be "Supermarket Cashback" as perhaps this is clearer!
Supermarket cashback - but there will need to be a guarantee in place for people to get their money back - or many problems will arise.
I'd prefer restaurant vouchers as it will save me more money. We usually eat out once a week but with cashback from supermarkets you're limited on what you can buy (usually it's not things I need/want)
It depends really. Some of these checkoutsmart and other apps offers are just branded stuff no one cares about and buying them is actually a loss despite trying to pass them as an offer.
