How Many Tags/shares is Too Many on Instagram ?

Pinkspirit if you ever wanted to get an instagram account and enter comps you can always tag me if you get stuck. Some comps on Instagram don’t require tags but to be honest a lot do. Good luck anyway with your future endeavours

zigzag123 thank you, their seem to be some great competition prizes on Instagram but l don't have any friends and it seems that tagging and sharing is part & parcel of winning, same applies to FB, what happened to just good old adding my details

Pinkspirit As I said your are always welcome to tag me if you ever wanted to get involved in the instagram competitions and am sure others on here would let you tag them also. The sharing part is just in your stories mainly so you could just have a basic account and do it that way. Anyway of course whatever you feel happiest doing and the old adding details comps are still around for now but think there will be a time when you see less and less of them but maybe you will have more chance to win with less people entering that way....who knows

MelissaLee1 I never used to do IG comps but was finding less usual comps to enter via websites. Since doing IG comps I have won 3 times so seems fairly good success rate so think I will continue. Good luck with your future comps

Lynibis I agree, I try to limit my tags as to the requirements of the Competition, so if it needs 5 tags then that is most I do. Otherwise I generally do 3 and sometimes share to my stories.

i think there should be A limit on how many tags you can do but I understand the competition creator wants as many shares as possible. The problem is a lot of the Accounts are just simply created to enter competitions and not genuine instagram accounts as such. Anyway good luck with future comps.

I did win a fluffy scarf years ago again on Instagram but from another country lol I’ve forgotten where

kitty88uk I have just edited above to make sense lol. Yes I have won loads of prizes over the years but I do not enter on any of the socials, only website or emails.

I too wonder a lot of items just won a tshirt and crossbody bag on last Sunday

kitty88uk I have won books, dvds, beauty products, spa voucher, coffee machine, opera tickets, theatre tickets, but best one was 4 x trips to Europe with flights, transfers, 3 nights in top hotel, £500 spends and tickets to classical concerts, that was all one prize and went to Switzerland, London, Germany and Milan. I don't expect to win much more as I have had more than my fair share.

kitty88uk that big prize was on air on the radio, classicfm. I had entered online and didn't realise it was an on air comp so got a big surprise when they called me. I had to answer a question along with 2 others and closest to correct won!

I expect you have seen from comments on here that you need to enter hundreds per week to stand a chance of winning (although there is always beginners luck). I enter about 100 per day but at the moment the magazine comps are a bit lean and I don't enter those I don't want/need/can give as gifts.

I recently won a competition too last Sunday of a tshirt and crossbody bag will be getting them next week
