A Teacher Shared Sleep times Based on Age - Do You Agree?
Ask a Question
Do your kids follow these time?
I think mine up to the age of 10 was always 7pm.
what about yours? do they follow these times?
All children are different. My son has a bedtime of 7pm but some days he gets tired earlier so goes between half 6 and 6.45pm. It All depends. My son goes to bed at 7pm, but some mornings he will be up at 6.30am, other days he is still asleep at 8am, it varies so much.
Lol there is no way my oldest would go bed at 7pm she's always been up till 11 from the age of 2 because she wouldn't go sleep earlier and she's up every morning at 7am
Perhaps this teacher doesn't know what EXACT times means. It seems stange all the times given are EXACTLY on the quarter hour mark.
The teacher should know that (just as in adults) the amount of sleep required will vary from individual to individual.
Chloroform is required, with some children, to ensure they sleep through to seven o'clock. (please don't try this at home).
My 2 year old goes to bed a 7, my son is 7 and goes to bed at 8 if he has school the next and 8.30 if it's a weekend or holidays. Neither of them wake up a 7 though, the 2 year old is quite often awake at 5am and my son not much later at 6am.
I’m afraid I have no faith in anything reported as ‘a teacher...’ or ‘a doctor.....’ etc. This seems to be how social media draws you in.
