Where Do All the Teaspoons Go?
Ask a Question
So it appears that our teaspoons have been doing the old disappearing act again. I bought a close relative a new cutlery set for Christmas consisting of 6 of each utensil (knives, forks, tablespoons and teaspoons). Already, just a few months later 4 teaspoons have mysteriously gone missing, yet all other utensils remain. This is apparently a common phenomenon. Does anybody have any theories as to what happens to them? Why is it always teaspoons?
They are with the odd socks perhaps. I have the same problem but with me its the big spoons.
I have found myself throwing the odd teaspoon away with a used teabag and bits of choc wrappers etc, they are so small its easy to scrape them into the bin with the rubbish, especially when a bit tired
I agree with Telmel. So easy to drop in bin when disposing of teabags. They are small and they stick.
DOH, the teaspoon fairy takes them to use as tiny R.S.J's in her fairy land. It's right next to the tooth fairy world which as we all know is at the bottom of your garden lol have a great day who knows they may get returned or you may have a lovely shopping trip to replace them.
I don’t lose teaspoons but have lost forks and bigger spoons. I blame my adult children. They take them to work to eat their lunch but they never come back, the cutlery that is not my children.
