Ted Baker Has Called in the Administrators

In the News

So sad Ted Baker has called in the Administrators . Another icon to go. Such a shame as I loved their products.

MelissaLee1 We soon won’t recognise any of the old retailers . I’ve noticed a lot of New companies the last few years and they are all bargain ones. It seems the way forward at the moment.

MelissaLee1 Blame the local councils and their outrageous council tax, rent, plus insurance. I have never purchased Ted Baker's clothing, but I do know of few who do, and the materials used was of excellent quality.

jam45 they are disgustingly high. We have boarded up shops that have never opened since they were built years ago. I know councils are struggling but surely some rent is better than no rent.

Lynibis You are so right. They are not helping the high street. I don’t think there are any towns that haven’t got boarde£ up shops.

I have a few Ted Baker handbags, bought in the sales or bought 2nd hand. They are excellent quality and one of them is 9 years old but still looks like new. Sad to see them go.

I think I bought some shirts from them many years ago while a sale was on and they were great quality for the price. I just forgot they existed I guess in recent years.

Not a shock. People are skint. Ted Baker is a luxury product. People either can't afford to buy the stuff as they can just about eat or choosing cheaper to be able to get more for their money
