Ask a Question

What alcoholic drink do you remember drinking as a teenager, and never touched again, bad memories about it.

Vodka. Someone spiked my orange drink with it thinking I wouldn’t tell/taste it but I wasn’t that used to alcohol and knew it tasted odd and I didn’t trust him anyway. I was with my friend and her family and friends. They insisted it was just juice so I said to her you drink it then. She did and was ill with major headache all the way home! I knew he wanted to take advantage of me. I was just 16 but streetwise.

For me It has to be Cointreau. I got drunk as a skunk and was really sick as a teenager. Haven`t touched a drop once plus I don`t like the smell of It.

Bacardi I drunk a lot of this back then but I just can't face it now. Plus Gin I remember trying that and felt like I had a mouthful of flowers 😆

I didn't drink as a teenager, didn't drink much in my 20s and don't drink at all now. Just don't like the taste. Malibu and lemonade is one I recommend people avoid. Tastes like cream soda and too easy to drink loads.

Cider I can't even sit at same table as anyone drinking strong bow anymore but I do like fruit flavour ones.

I used to love Smirnoff Ice, but nowadays have I think mostly if not totally gone off of it. I suspect that it may contain artificial sweeteners (?), which might explain it.

I started on the Woodpeckers cider as it was really cheap and we could get it from the off licence but when I started going to pubs I was having half a lager and lime with Pernod and black mixed with it.
